Abergavenny Town FC have completed the signing of 17-year-old, Jordan Hartford on a free contract.
The former Forest Green Rovers and Bristol City player felt it was the right decision to make after initial talks with 1st Team Manager Steve Morgan.
Jordan has played for Newport County, spent three years at Bristol City and most recently turned out for Forest Green Rovers before his release in June this year.
Previous honours for Jordan consist of JPL leagues and cups with Newport County and has played against such teams as Bourssia Dortmund, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Bayer Leverkusen with Bristol City. The last achievement for Hartford was winning the South West Counties Cup last year with Forest Green Rovers.
Jordan hopes to bring enthusiasm and directness to the team , in what will be a challenging season for the club. The club hope to be fighting for promotion this season to build on last seasons achievements of promotion to Division 2 of the Welsh League and successful FAW Trophy campaign.
