Buckley Town v Denbigh Town
Denbigh travel to Buckley buoyed by last week’s dramatic comeback against Caernarfon. Denbigh are unbeaten in their first two games and will look to continue that against a Buckley side who have yet to record a win this season.
Caernarfon Town v Prestatyn Town
It may be early on in the season but whoever takes the spoils may find these three points pivotal in attempting to gain promotion to the Premier League. Prestatyn have only one player unavailable for the clash, with Michael Parker suspended, while Caernarfon’s Danny Brookwell and Nathan Craig are doubts. Expect a cracker and a big crowd in the league’s game of the day.
Conwy Borough v Flint Town
Former Conwy manager Aden Shannon and his Flint Town squad make the short journey along the North Wales coast to Y Morfa to face an out of form Borough. Shannon has a full strength side to choose from following international clearances for James Hooper, Richie Foulkes, Andrew Brown and James Petrie. Borough will look to finally get off the mark and put behind them two disappointing defeats.
Guilsfield v Holhead Town
Holyhead make the long trip to Guilsfield were the visitors will be looking to repeat last season’s result against the Powys team. Manager Danny Barton and assistant Nathan Leonard are unavailable for Guilsfield, but new arrival Louis Irvine is cleared to play. Holyhead will try to build on their hard earned point against Holywell Town last week.
Holywell Town v Penrhyncoch
Penrhyncoch will look to make the two hundred mile round trip to Halkyn Road a worthwhile one when they visit Holywell this weekend. Both teams look evenly matched at this early stage but Holywell will want to bounce back from what they would see as a disappointing draw at Holyhead last week.
Llanfair United v Gresford Athletic
Both teams will be keen to get their season up and running with their first wins of the campaign as Llanfair welcome Gresford to Mount Field. Gresford have a full strength squad to choose from, giving the visitors a timely boost to kick start the fledgling season.
Mold Alex v Caersws
Mold’s woeful start won’t be made any easier as they entertain a Caersws side that are only one of three teams to still have a 100% winning start to the season. Mold’s woeful defence have conceded a whopping thirteen goals in two games, something the management will be desperate to improve.
Porthmadog v Ruthin Town
As with Caersws, Porthmadog also have six points from two games and you would expect they will have added another three points by Saturday evening. Ruthin have struggled with life in the second tier, but a much improved performance against Cearsws, despite defeat this will have given Ruthin hope they can survive at this level.
