WHAT to expect from Bangor City’s new striker

What can Citizens expect from new signing 33-year old former Motherwell striker, Michael Higdon.

Standing at 6ft 1, Higdon is a strong target man with an eye for goal, along with the ability to back it. Citizens can expect a few goals to say the least!

When signing for Dutch side NEC Nijmegen, technical director Carlos Aalbers, stated Higdon’s target-man qualities and his ability “to score goals at the highest level” were the reasons for signing him.

Not only does he have bags of ability, as proven by his 106 career goals, but at 33 years of age and having played in numerous high profile leagues he also has experience.

In 2012/2013 Scottish Premier League season he won both SPL Player of the Season and Golden Boot. Both accolades clearing highlighting his ability and expertise as a top striker.
