Cefn Druids have completed the signing of Llandudno defender Nathan Peate, it was announced today.

Peate has previously played for Gresford Athletic and theWord Cup 2016 finalists Denbigh Town, before moving to Llandudno in the summer.

He was a rumoured target of the Druids in the summer, but opted to sign for Alun Morgan’s Llandudno side, who find themselves in a late scrap for the top six after a gutsy 1-0 win over Bangor City.

Peate’s new club are consigned to the relegation conference for phase two with just three wins in the league so far, but the Ancients will hope Peate can help them turn a corner and survive their first season back in the top flight.

Peate will be available for selection for Druids against Aberystwyth Town 0n January 7, a game where a win or draw for Druids would greatly aid Llandudno chances of securing the top six.
